sliced food additives on brown cutting board

Welcome to Spice and Savour!

I believe that every great meal begins with a handful of soil and a little bit of sunshine.
My journey didn’t start with a massive farm or a culinary degree. It started with a small gift and a big challenge. A stranger once handed me a simple thyme plant and said four words that changed my life: “Grow your own food.”
That one herb was the spark. Watching that plant thrive—and eventually seasoning my first home-cooked meal with it—opened my eyes to the magic of the harvest.

From Caribbean Soil to the Kitchen Table

Living in the Caribbean, we are blessed with vibrant flavors, rich traditions, and a climate that breathes life into everything from fiery peppers to fragrant herbs. Spice and Savour is my way of celebrating that abundance.
I’ve spent years learning the rhythm of the seasons here, discovering that there is no “spice” more potent than one you’ve nurtured yourself, and no “savour” more satisfying than a dish made from ingredients picked just minutes before.
